Applications for 2009 prefects closed on Friday October 17th.  There were a huge number of written nominations.  Ella McClean has already been elected as the Board of Trustees Student Representative, which earns her the first prefect spot for next year.  The interview process was introduced last year and has been a resounding success, with each of this year's 25 prefects being responsible for a key area with the school, from technology to the school library.  Students have been in favour of prefects being chosen by credentials rather than popularity and they have really had to work for their title this year.
