The School Council held a mufti day last week to support the 'iCan' project in Wellington.  They are collecting cans of food to donate to food banks around the region, with a goal of collecting over 45,000 cans in order to make a record-breaking construction in Civic Square next month. 

Instead of the usual $2 payment, students were encouraged to bring two cans to donate.
