Description

Jessica Balu, one of last year's joint duxes, has been awarded the Robert Bostock Scholarship.  It is a new scholarship awarded to five Wellington students attending Victoria University. 

Students are awarded $4,000 annually and it is awarded for academic ability with factors such as 'character, leadership, community involvement and contributions to cultural and/or sporting activities' also considered.

Jessica was heavily involved in the greater life of the school as the Board of Trustees Prefect, as well as having roles in various from being Deputy Editor of the school magazine to being one of the stage crew for Les Miserables and a peer tutor in a Year 9 class.  She also played badminton.
