Description

Amy Lewis, a new student in the Special Needs Unit, attended the Horowhenua Special Olympic swim meet in Levin recently. 

She was second in the 200m freestyle, second in the 50m breast stroke and won the 100m medley, beating her previous personal best time.

Her sporting interests are wider than just swimming, and Amy has been offered a place in this year’s Special Olympics snow/ski camp.
