Last week staff had a morning tea to celebrate 25 years, to the day, of Lyn Broad starting work in the school office at WEGC.

In her years here she has been promoted to Principal's Secretary, which is a job involving an intimate knowledge of the school.

Mrs Broad has seen vast changes since she began here, as technology moved from manual type-writers to electronic versions and finally computers.  She was here as schools shifted to the 'Tomorrow's Schools' programme, which meant a huge increase in paperwork requirements.
