| Description | In a junior assembly today, the prefects tried out their latest song choices. The first two were both great successes. First of all Fergusson House Prefect, Pam Siau, accompanied on piano for Coldplay's 'Fix You' and then Music Prefect, Georgia Grey, led everybody on the popular 'Breaking Free' from High School Musical. They finished with 'Thank You for the Music' from Abba. Something for everybody! 1024 were awarded the edible prize for Most Enthusiastic Singing. They took advantage of the new technology in the hall, which includes a new sound system and two new data projectors which project on either side of the stage. Both principal's and prefects' assemblies have utilised the new projectors, using Powerpoints and other technology to engage students, and a group of students has been taught to set up and use all of it. |
