| Description | At the VUW chemistry quiz night, the GMOLE (a scientific term which has a silent 'g', pronouned 'moles') team won the prize for best costume. The team was Kate Manners, Caitlin Williams, Gretchen Lummis and Stacey Robinson. The competition involved over 30 teams from Wellington and surrounding areas secondary schools and tests their chemical knowledge. Our other team (CHEMICAL X) won the prize for the best decorated clamp stand! The other team was Amelia Gilbert-Milne, Jenna Bone, Jessica Milne and Laura Burke. All are keen to compete again next year and aim for the more academic prizes. Our best year 13 students were unavailable for the competition as is clashed with our Open Evening. |
