Miss Koirala, of the English Department, has come second in the Wellington Sonnet Competition.  Her entry was entitled 'Courtenay Place'.  The competition was organised by the group that oversees the Wellington Writers Walk and the brief was to write a sonnet about Wellington.

She completed her Masters in Creative Writing last year at Victoria University and is in the midst of publishing an anthology of her work.
