On Thursday in the last week of term our Polynesian Group performed at the Tu Tangata concert at the Opera House.

One of many groups performing from colleges around the area, they were chosen to open the event 'with a bang'.  They excelled themselves, performing with beauty, dignity and precision and becoming a crowd favourite. 

The leaders and group members had been practising intensely all year, with after school and weekend practices for the last month. 

Many of the members will be part of the Multi Choir group accompaying an Auckland song-writer on the Good Morning show this Thursday (TV1, from 9am).
