Proud Parents

In a special assembly on Monday, the 24 prefects and most of their parents graced the stage.  Around 40 parents were able to make it, lots taking time off work in order to come.  They were briefly powhiried into the hall, then joined in with school singing and Flora gave a speech paying tribute to them as parents. 

There were tears during the speech and as some senior Polynesian students honoured Flora's parents with a beautiful version of the Samoan national anthem.
