At the end of last term Year 9 classes had the challenge of creating a class name, banner and chant.  They were assigned class colours and other choices could be themed around those.

910 won the banner contest, with the chili-pepper theme, complete with stuffed mascot.  The chants were won by 914, with their peace-out theme.  953 performed well, getting top three on both categories.

Upcoming challenges include photo-captioning contests and an epic Year 9 Olympics challenge (tabloid sports style) in June.  Sam and Roza have initiated lots of exciting new challenges for the Year 9s this year and their hard work has helped classes bond early in the year.
