| Description |
On Thursday they organised the Amazing Race, a scavenger hunt around the school where groups from each class had to perform challenges and race against the clock. The winning class will get points towards the hotly contested Year 9 Cup, but the ultimate goal of the morning was to get to know each other better, work together and for Year 9s to find their way around the school. Meanwhile, senior students were gearing up for another important year with presentations on NCEA, careers and self-defence lessons. See more photos from the Amazing Race for Year 9. |
The tuakana prefects, Lola and Helena (pictured above), and their team of Year 13s have worked hard this week to welcome our newest students to Year 9.

Parents and caregivers are invited to come with their Year 9s and famililes to have afternoon tea after school. There will be opportunities to meet teachers informally and see some classrooms.

A special assembly and morning tea for prefects and their parents or caregivers
