Amazing Race for Year 9s

On Tuesday each form class had four teams running around the school, using clues to find Tuakana planted around the grounds who got them to perform various challenges, from forming a human pyramid to reciting the alphabet backwards.  The Tuakana Prefects, Roza and Sam, organised the event for the newest students of the school in order to help them find their way around and get to know each other better.

953's combined class effort won them the race and the first points of the year in the Year 9 Trophy challenge. 

Miss Judge is incredibly proud of her form class.  "The first thing our tuakanas [Year 13 peer support students] said on Monday morning was that they wanted 953 to win the trophy for best Year 9 form group - and the girls haven't disappointed.  I think 953 is an awesome group of students."
