Rheilli Uluilelata was awarded a youth prize for her achievements and leadership in hockey. 

2010 Prize Winners Announced

Sports prize giving was bigger and better than ever.  The grand winner was Kate Irving who is a top ranked diver for NZ.  See the full list of prize-winners in each team.

Netball Grade Winners

The Senior A Netball won their division and had many players get rep honours.

Soccer Champions

The 1st XI Football team kept up their good record in the top Wellington school girls grade, winning the final 1-0.Rugby Division 1 Champions

The school team won the final of the ten-a-side competition.

Rugby Team wins 10-a-side Grade

The school rugby team beat Otaki in the final of the 10-a-side Wellington grade.

Softballers Three-Peat at Nationals

For an amazing third year in a row the WEGC softball team has won the national title.  Many girls were named in the tournament team, as well as Moana Pointon being named coach of the tournament again.  As well as winning the final, the girls were named at the friendliest team in the tournament, a unique double-honour. 

Waka Ama Brings Back Gold

Waka Ama has achieved outstanding success bringing back 6 gold medals from regional and national competitions this year.  More... 

Dragonboaters Win Title

The Year 12 dragonboaters won the girls' division of the schools competition in March.
