Tēnā koutou kātoa,

We have just listened to the Prime Minister's announcement and as a result school will be closed to all students and staff from midnight tonight until Monday 23 August.

We do want to maintain engagement with learning over the next three days with students following their timetabled classes. Teachers will be posting the learning for these classes in google classroom.

Ako teachers will also be holding a face to face check in with students through the google meet link on the Ako Google Classroom at 10.40am each day. This is an opportunity to check in with students and touch base regarding any concerns they may have.

School Exams are due to be held for Senior students next week. Depending on Alert Levels we may look to rescheduling these to the week beginning 6 September.

Sports events and competitions are suspended while Wellington is at Level 4.  Currently this goes through until Friday night. College Sport Wellington will be in contact with us regarding plans beyond this date, and we will update you when this information becomes available.

Sadly, Cultural Variety Night which was due to be held on Thursday will also be cancelled

Please encourage students to check their emails as this will be the main way that teachers will be communicating with students. Please look after yourselves and your whānau at this time and make contact with us if you have any concerns. You can contact via email or the school direct line.

Ngā mihi nui
