How to Enrol
For all enrolments (including current year) please complete our online enrolment form. If you have trouble completing this please contact our Enrolment Administrator - enrolments@wegc.school.nz or phone the school.
1. Complete the enrolment form online. You will need to include :
- All in zone applications must include a recent power/gas bill (within 3 months), recent rates bill, or signed tenancy agreement as proof of address of the student's usual MAIN place of residence. The document must include the physical address, the parents/caregivers name and the date. Please note we are unable to accept other bills or a bank letter.
- The student's Passport or Birth Certificate if born in NZ, if born in Australia we require the student's passport, if not born in NZ we also require the student's Domestic Visa or NZ Residency Certificate or NZ Citizenship Certificate
- Proof of official guardianship/caregivers if the enrolling student is not living with their parent/s.
- Ideally a recent school report but can be brought to enrolment meeting
Please note that enrolments cannot be accepted without these documents.
2. Once received we will contact you within a couple of days to acknowledge we have received the application, advise if we need any further information and to arrange an enrolment meeting. Please note our enrolment meeting is a chance to get to know your student better, and assist with the transition to Wellington East Girls College.

We welcome any students interested in joining us in 2025 to come to our Open Day on Thursday 13th June 2024. We are running two sessions to learn about our school from staff and students. Parking will be available on site, 30 minutes prior to each session via Gate A.
- Session 1 starts at 3.00pm, ends 5.00pm
- Session 2 starts at 6.00pm, ends 7.30pm
