Notification of PPTA Industrial Action

Tēnā koutou katoa,

The PPTA has confirmed to the Wellington East Girls’ College Board that its member teachers will be undertaking partial strikes from Monday 15 September to Thursday 18 September 2025. 

These partial strikes will take place from 9.00 am to 3.15 pm each day. On these days, teachers will not teach, instruct, or supervise the year levels listed below but will continue to teach other students and undertake administrative work.

Students will also be rostered home beginning Monday 15th September. The details are included in the table below

All students at school Friday 19th September

Te Aka students will not be impacted by the rostering home.
