The PPTA has confirmed to the Wellington East Girls’ College Board that its member teachers will be undertaking

  • Partial strikes from Tuesday 14 October - Friday 17 October
  • Full day strike Thursday 23 October
  • Ban on extra-curricular activities - Wednesday 29 October
  • Full strike from 1:15pm - 3:15pm on Wednesday 5 November

These partial strikes will take place from 9.00 am to 3.15 pm each day. On these days, teachers will not teach, instruct, or supervise the year levels listed below but will continue to teach other students and undertake administrative work. The affected year level will be rostered home.

Students will be rostered home beginning Tuesday 14th October. The details are included in the table below

During the partial strikes all students (except the rostered home level) are expected at school

Te Aka students will not be impacted by the rostering home days.
