We warmly invite all families to join us in celebrating the academic, cultural, and sporting achievements of our students at this year's Prizegiving. Student attendance is compulsory for both the morning practice and the evening event.
Date: Tuesday, 28th October
Venue: Michael Fowler Centre (Time detailed below)
Morning Practice (Compulsory for all students)
All students must be at the Michael Fowler Centre by 8:45 am. Your Manaaki teacher will take the roll.
Note: Orchestra: Arrive at 8:00 am for set-up.
Dismissal:
Important Note for Morning Practice:
Metlink is unable to reroute school buses. Students will need to arrange their own transport to the Michael Fowler Centre. There will be no afternoon school buses, so students must make their own way home after dismissal. We expect all students to return for the evening Prizegiving.
Absence Procedure:
If your student is absent, please follow the usual procedure by notifying our absence line at 385 8514 ext 848 or emailing attendance@wegc.school.nz.

Students are expected to wear their formal school uniform: white blouse, jersey/vest/cardigan, blazer (if available), and black leather lace-up shoes with white socks or black tights.
Seating Arrangements:
Students will be seated in the auditorium. Parents and friends will be seated in the gallery upstairs.
Parking Information:
Parking is limited near the Michael Fowler Centre due to road works on Wakefield Street. We recommend parking near Te Papa.
