Kia ora koutou,

It has been a challenging start to Term 2 as we have navigated another extreme weather event. I appreciate your support for our remote learning day today and recognise the logistical challenges that working from home can bring. Thank you for your flexibility as we prioritised the safety of our school community.

I am pleased to announce that school will open as usual tomorrow, Wednesday 22 April, for on-site learning. We look forward to getting the term underway and welcoming all of our students back.

While we are grateful to return to our regular routine, I am mindful that many families in our community have been significantly impacted by the flooding. To show our support, we will be holding a non-uniform day this Friday, 24 April. We ask that students bring a gold coin donation; all funds raised will go directly toward supporting families within our community who have been most affected.

Thank you again for your patience.

Ngā mihi nui
