I wanted to remind our community about the upcoming long weekend and teacher only days.

Teacher Only Days - Thursday 30 May 2024  / Friday 31 May 2024

A reminder that Wellington East Girls’ College will be closed for these days:

- Thursday 30 May:  This date has been set by the Ministry of Education to support the implementation of changes to NCEA, and the refreshed NZ curriculum. 

- Friday 31 May:   there is a Wellington wide day for teachers  to connect through the Wellington Loop.  

Our Te Aka class will be closed and school buses will not be running on both days.

Monday 3 June 

There is a public holiday on Monday 3 June, King’s Birthday, and the school will be closed.
